WomenX is a World Bank-funded pilot initiative focused on supporting high-growth oriented women business owners. Enclude is delivering the programme in Karachi, in partnership with the Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), and Minding HER Business (MHB).

WomenX has two objectives at its core:

  1. WomenX Entrepreneurship Programme: Providing an integrated package of services to high-growth potential women entrepreneurs, in order to help them achieve significant improvement in business performance and;
  2. Women's INC (Inspiration Network, and Conversation): Implementing a nation-wide public discourse campaign aimed at positively changing perceptions about women entrepreneurs, and providing women with a community with access to relevant resources and new networks.


WomenX Programme Partners


Enclude, formerly doing business as ShoreBank International (USA) and Triodos Facet (Netherlands), is an advisory firm dedicated to building an inclusive and prosperous global economy. Its integrated capacity and capital services help clients and partners design, connect, finance and build solutions that generate sustainable business results as well as positive social and environmental outcomes. Enclude's professionals work in five registered offices (Netherlands, USA, UK, Pakistan, and India) and in project locations across the world, including Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe and Central Asia. Enclude was selected by the World Bank to implement the WomenX project in Pakistan.

Institute Of Business Administration (IBA) Center For Entrepreneurial Development (CED)

IBA was established in 1955 with initial technical support provided by the world famous Wharton School of Finance, Univ. of Pennsylvania.Later, the Univ. of Southern California set up various facilities and several prominent American professors were assigned to IBA. The course contents, the curriculum, the pedagogical tools and the assessment methods were developed in collaboration with these two institutions. IBA has grown to be one of the leading business schools of the country with the largest alumni base on business participants in Pakistan.

IBA developed the Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) to foster entrepreneurship and business innovation and to provide advisory and support services to (aspiring) entrepreneurs with a special emphasis on participants and entrepreneurs. The CED initiative aims at improving the competitiveness of the Pakistani economy by strengthening systems for workforce development, improving access to training, jobs and business opportunities. IBA CED was selected as one of the top three entrepreneurial centers outside the US in the 2014 USASBE conference in USA.

M.H.B. Minding HER business

Minding HER Business (MHB) is a project under Concentric, a boutique consulting company that caters to workplace solutions with women at its core. MHB provides tailored workshops, events and incubation/acceleration services designed to fit the natural curves and lines of women entrepreneurs. MHB speaks a new language, offers a fresh methodology and a female approach to launching and running a business. Women like to feel creatively fulfilled, seek authenticity and desire a sense of balance and purpose in all areas of their lives. MHB provides women with a creative space for expression and a community of like-minded and passionate women entrepreneurs who support one another in achieving their goals. For WomenX - MHB is running Masterminds™, Soft Skills Trainings, Networking Events, Business Clinics and a Mentoring Program. In addition- MHB is the managing partner for the Public Discourse Campaign, Women's INC.

School of Leadership

SoL, established on July 01, 2002, is an enterprise with a social mandate. It aims to stimulate conscious endeavor, for people to discover and utilize their unquestionable ability to elevate their lives.

The young team at SoL undertakes various cross-sectoral ventures, primarily with youth (age 18 to 24) and their stakeholders. From carving out growth oriented visions; to conducting needs assessments; facilitating stimulating training interventions, SoL involves individuals/ organizations to develop capability for higher levels of sustainable growth. Attitudinal, behavioral and cultural frameworks form the common denominator of these interventions.

SoL organizes various national scale leadership training initiatives to prepare youth to add exceptional value to their chosen fields by demonstrating exemplary leadership.

Women Resource Center at LCCI

The WRC was established in 2007 with the collaboration of CIPE to promote entrepreneurship among women so that they become part of the white economy of the country by improving their skills and competitive. The Women Resource Centre organizes basic training on sales, marketing & financial management, through workshops, seminars, delegations, exhibitions and many other valuable sources. The main objective of Women Entrepreneurs Development & Resource Center (WEDRC) is to develop and encourage the women members of LCCI and encourage new membership from the Lahore Region and to be a leader in supporting women entrepreneurs. Currently, WRC is working as Enclude’s partner for WomenX networking, outreach and mentoring.
